I'm a french member of the CNT-IWA. I've found your book really interesting. I'm trying to find information about Chu Cha Pei, the Yunnan guerilla evoked in your work. Do you have any advice on how to find sources related to him?*
ReplyDeleteThanks in advance
Dear friend
ReplyDeleteI have been following up on this matter, but so far without much success. Most studies of anarchism in China end in the 1940s, not coincidentally because the new Maoist state then clamps down on opposition.
Chu's role is very key, but I do not know of any studies of it. If I find out more - as I intend to do - then I will certainly post them here and elsewhere. I intend to persist.
Lucien
Great, thanks!
ReplyDeleteThere might be something on the Whampoa academy website or archives...if you know someone reading chinese.
